Introduction
ADS-201 is a battery powered ProfiSens end node for strain gage bridge sensors. The unit is available for the 433 MHz licence free band. It incorporates one Bridge Amplifier input, one digital input configurable as pulse counter input and multiple excitation options for powering transducers. A D-size Lithium Thionyl battery can provide autonomous operation for over 5 years.
Measurement
ADS-201 incorporates a high precision Bridge Amplifier (Instrumentation Amplifier) with low Input Offset Voltage and low Input Voltage Noise. Several gain options are available to meet specific custom applications.
Transducer excitation
The unit provides multiple excitation options with voltage calibration for measuring transducers.
